IASE University, Sardarshahr. The Institute of Advanced Studies in Education (IASE) was sponsored by a non-governmental, Non-profit-motive making registered society. It was named Gandhi Vidya Mandir (GVM). IASE university has been attributed as B+ (79% i.e. 5 star rated) institute accreditation by NAAC. The University is located in the Thar Desert, near the town of Sardarshahr in the state of Rajasthan.
GVM has been established in 1950. This was started in a backward area. The place which is prone to droughts, heat and cold waves was a big barrier for education. But still, with its variety of academic programs the university has shown a remarkable progress in the field of higher education.
In 2003, distance education programmes were also started with an aim to spread the culture of education in the backward areas. Many students have got the benefits of this beautiful vision in various fields like education, Management, Engineering, Biotechnology, Humanities etc.

A well planned hostel for 2000 students is the main feature of the campus. A big library with a pool of useful books and a big conference hall make the university perfect for your research activities and presentations. The communications facilities and the information technology infrastructure is mentionable at the university.1200 Acres of land of this university itself depicts its vastness.
