GATE 2011 RESULTS

GATE 2011 (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) results have been announced at GATE offices of IISc (Indian Institute of Science) and seven IITs (Indian Institutes of Technology) today.
GATE 2011 results will be announced on March 15, 2011 at 10:00 hrs. at GATE offices of IISc and seven IITs. GATE 2011 results will also be available on the websites of GATE offices, respective to IIT.

• IIT Kharagpur
• IIT Roorkee
• IIT Guwahati

GATE 2011 score is valid for TWO YEARS from the date of announcement of the GATE results.
GATE 2011 results may be made available on payment basis to interested organizations (educational institutions, R & D laboratories, industries, etc.) in India and abroad based on a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between IIT Madras and the requesting organization. Details in this regard can be obtained from the Chairman, GATE, IIT Madras.
The machine-gradable Optical Response Sheets (ORS) are graded and scrutinized with extreme care. There is no provision for regrading and re-totaling. No photocopies of the machine-gradable Optical Response Sheets (ORS) will be made available. No correspondence in this regard will be entertained.

DUMET-2011 Notification
Eligibility – Pass in 12th class examination under 10+2 system with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Englishi. The candidates must have passed in the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English separately and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks (40% marks for candidates belonging to SC/ST category and 45% marks in case of OBC category) taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The candidates must have studied 11th and 12th classes regularly from a school situated within the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
Female candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/Children, Widows and Wives of Armed & Para Military Personnel (CWWAPP category) killed or disabled in action in wars 1947-48 onwards and wards of Ex-servicemen personnel and serving personnel of the Defence /Armed Forces and all Police Forces who are in receipt of Gallantry Awards, who have passed qualifying examination from Indian Boards/Universities or Foreign Boards/Universities may also apply for admission to Lady Hardinge Medical College only and have to come for Counselling. They would be offered admission to LHMC only on the basis of their merit in the DUMET-2011. The condition of studying 11th and 12th class from a school situated within the National Capital Territory of Delhi shall not be applicable to these candidates.
Last Date: 07th March 2011
Entrance Examination date: 22nd May 2011 (Sunday)
The last date for receipt of request for supply of the application form along with BOI by POST is 11th February, 2011.
